How do we know Christ's provision is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's provision is sufficient for salvation as He fulfills all that is required for redemption through His sacrifice.

Christ's sufficiency for salvation is grounded in His role as our propitiation and high priest. Romans 3:25 states that He has been set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, declaring His righteousness for the remission of sins. Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 1:30 affirms that because of God, Christ has become our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Christians are not meant to add anything to what Christ has achieved; His redemptive work sustains our hope. This means that our acceptance before God does not rest on our works but solely on Christ's merits.
