How do we know God is with us in difficult times?

Answered in 18 sources

We know God is with us because His Word reassures us of His presence, as seen in the historical accounts of Israel's journey and promises throughout Scripture.

God's presence in difficult times is affirmed through numerous biblical narratives, particularly in the experiences of the Israelites as they journeyed through the wilderness. Despite their failings and disobedience, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He continually guided and protected them, demonstrating His faithfulness. This assurance extends to believers today, who are reminded that, like David, we may cry out ‘let God arise’ in our challenges, trusting that He is a dependable source of strength and support. Additionally, God’s covenant promises assure us that no matter how tough the trials are, He is with us, guiding us through the difficulties.
