God leads us through His providence, prayer, and by His Holy Spirit, confirming His direction in our lives.
The assurance of God's leading can often be discerned through the events of our lives and the peace we feel about decisions. Abraham's servant experienced direct guidance as he prayed for God's help. In verse 21 of Genesis 24, he waited silently, wondering if the Lord had prospered his journey. This waiting and watching for God's hand at work is an essential aspect of recognizing His guidance. Additionally, Romans 8:14 states, 'For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God,' indicating that the Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in guiding believers in their daily decisions and choices. Thus, a life of prayerful dependence and the acknowledgment of God's past faithfulness fosters an assurance of His ongoing guidance.
