How do we know God's care is real?

Answered in 3 sources

God's care is made evident through the promises of His unending presence and through the sacrificial love shown in Christ.

In the sermon, the preacher reflects on Martha's question to Jesus, 'Lord, dost thou not care?' This speaks to a common struggle in the believer's life where feelings of abandonment creep in despite God's clear assurances. Scripture provides many promises of God's eternal care, such as Hebrews 13:5, where He promises never to leave us or forsake us. Additionally, the ultimate evidence of God's care is displayed through Christ's sacrificial death, illustrating His love for us while we were still sinners. Recognizing and trusting in God's faithfulness is crucial for assurance amidst life’s challenges.
