How do we know God's presence is in hell?

Scripture affirms that hell is not characterized by an absence of God but by His omnipresence in the form of unrelenting justice. The psalmist declares, 'If I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there,' illustrating that no creature can escape God's sovereignty or presence. While sinners in hell are perpetually cut off from God's grace and favor, they are confronted by His holiness and majesty, which becomes the very cause of their eternal torment as they experience His wrath without any glimmer of mercy.
