How do we know God will be with us in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

God promises to be with His people, especially during trials and challenges, as affirmed in Scripture.

In Psalm 27, David reassures us of God's presence, saying, 'When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up' (Psalm 27:10). This verse illustrates that even in our most vulnerable moments, when earthly relationships might fail us, God remains steadfast and supportive. Believers can trust that God will provide comfort and strength through His presence, especially during life's adversities. This assurance is founded on the character of God, who is faithful and good, and who promises to be with us always, guiding us through our struggles.
