How do we know God will deliver us?

Answered in 2 sources

God promises to deliver His people, as stated in Isaiah 46:4 where He says He will bear and carry them.

The assurance of God's deliverance is deeply rooted in His character and covenant promises. In Isaiah 46:4, God declares, 'I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.' This promise is relevant to His chosen people, the remnant of Israel, whom He declares to have been borne from the womb. God's faithfulness is key; He does not change, and His deliverance is guaranteed for those He has called and redeemed. This is echoed in Romans 8:28-30, where Paul emphasizes that all things work together for good to those who love God, affirming that those predestined by God are assured of His ultimate deliverance.
