How do we know if a decision is wise?

Answered in 1 source

A wise decision considers biblical principles, motives, and the potential impact on others.

To determine if a decision is wise, one must evaluate it against several tests: the Scripture Test, which asks if the decision aligns with biblical teachings; the Motive Test, which examines the heart's intention behind the decision; and the Stumbling Test, which considers whether the choice might negatively affect others in their faith. Our decisions should not only seek personal benefit but should also aim to edify the church and glorify God.
