How do we know if we are truly knowing Christ?

Answered in 1 source

True knowledge of Christ comes from seeing Him and being satisfied with His work, recognizing the futility of self-righteousness.

To truly know Christ is to understand and experience the reality of His grace. In Isaiah, the Lord speaks of teaching those who have been weaned from the breast, indicating a state of satisfaction and dependency. This condition relates closely to recognizing the emptiness of works-based religion, illustrated by the disgust with man-made religion as 'vomit on a table.' In knowing Christ, believers are led to rest in Him and His righteousness, as echoed in Hebrews 4, where true rest is found in believing Him and ceasing from our labors.
