How do we know Jesus is our king?

Answered in 10 sources

Jesus is recognized as King through His fulfillment of prophecy and His sovereign reign over all creation, as proclaimed in Isaiah.

In Isaiah 33, Jesus is affirmed as King who reigns in righteousness, both in His earthly ministry and in His exalted position in heaven. The text points to a greater King, Messiah Jesus, who fulfills the law and judges righteously. By faith, believers acknowledge Him as their sovereign ruler who saves and delivers His people. This acknowledgment is a vital part of the Christian faith, recognizing Christ as the one who reigns powerfully and justly over all creation.
