How do we know Jesus' reign is true?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' reign is affirmed by Scripture, depicting His sovereignty and control over all creation and history.

The truth of Jesus' reign is grounded in His resurrection and the authority bestowed upon Him by the Father. As stated in Philippians 2:9, He has been given a name above all names because of His obedience unto death. Revelation 1:5 confirms that He is the Prince of the kings of the earth, clearly establishing that His sovereignty is not just declarative but real and effective. We see throughout biblical history how God orchestrates events to demonstrate His authority, such as the resistance of Pharaoh, which ultimately led to God's glory being magnified. Consequently, believers today can rest in the assurance that Christ's reign is actualized in their lives and in history.
