How do we know man's responsibility is true?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible affirms man's responsibility through numerous teachings on judgment and moral accountability.

Scripture clearly defines man as a responsible creature who is accountable for his actions. In Romans 2:12-15, Paul explains that both Jews and Gentiles will be judged based on their deeds, emphasizing individual accountability regardless of possession of written law. The unwritten law written on the hearts of Gentiles indicates that they too are responsible for their moral actions and decisions (Romans 2:15). This establishes the basis for divine judgment, where every person’s conscience bears witness to their actions, leading to either acquittal or condemnation. Therefore, the notion of personal responsibility is not only a biblical principle, but it also illustrates the integrity of God's justice in judging sin.
