How do we know our afflictions lead to glory?

Answered in 1 source

Our light afflictions work for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 4:17 that our present afflictions, while difficult and momentary, are actually preparing us for an eternal glory that far exceeds our suffering. This perspective encourages believers to endure hardships with the knowledge that they serve a greater purpose in God's redemptive plan. Such afflictions help to purify our faith and deepen our reliance on Christ, ultimately leading to an eternal reward that brings glory to God and joy to the believer.
