How do we know our faith in God is true?

Answered in 1 source

Our faith is true when it is rooted in a deep, personal relationship with God and evidenced by His work in our lives.

We can have assurance that our faith in God is true when we are deeply persuaded of His nature and promises. Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good to those who love God. This assurance comes not merely from intellectual acceptance but from the transformative experiences we encounter as believers, witnessing God's providential care and love in our lives. As we reflect on our journey and the evidence of God's faithfulness, we become more confident in the validity of our faith, knowing that our salvation is anchored in Christ's finished work, not by our own merit.
