How do we know our salvation is assured?

Answered in 1 source

Our salvation is assured because it is based on God's promise and provision before we were even created.

The assurance of salvation is rooted in the reality that God has provided for our salvation through Christ before making promises to us. Isaiah 53 speaks of the gospel provided; it communicates how Jesus, as the Lamb, was sacrificed for our transgressions. Following that, Isaiah 54 outlines the covenant of peace that secures our relationship with God. Finally, Isaiah 55 conveys the gospel proclaimed, which is God’s direct summons to His people. Therefore, our confidence in salvation arises not from our actions but from God’s sovereign grace.
