How do we know that Christ is the reason not to fear?

In the message from Revelation 1:17-18, Christ reassures John, emphasizing His eternal nature and authority over death. He claims, 'I am the first and the last,' and 'I have the keys of hell and of death.' This power assures us that He has control over our ultimate fate. His resurrection from the dead serves as a guarantee of our own resurrection and justification. Therefore, through Christ's victory, we have every reason to trust Him and cast away our fears, knowing that we are safely held in His hands.
