How do we know that Christ is the source of our righteousness?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Christ is our source of righteousness because Scripture teaches that righteousness comes through faith in Him, not by our own works.

Paul, in Philippians 3:9, contrasts the righteousness derived from following the law with the righteousness that is given through faith in Christ. This righteousness is not obtained by human effort but is a gracious gift from God. By surrendering our self-righteousness and acknowledging our complete dependence on Christ, we secure a righteousness that is perfect and lasting, laying aside our attempts to gain God's favor through our actions. This profound truth reinforces the necessity of faith in Christ as the only means of true justification and acceptance before God.
