How do we know that Christ's humiliation was part of God's plan?

The humiliation of Christ, including His literal stripping of garments, was not an accident but a predetermined act of God, as seen in various prophetic Scriptures. Psalm 22 foretold these events a thousand years prior, declaring, "They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture" (Psalm 22:18). Moreover, Acts 4:27-28 indicates that the actions of the crucifiers were guided by God's predetermined plan. The soldiers, while acting freely and wickedly, were actually fulfilling the ancient prophecies concerning the Messiah. This dual truth of divine sovereignty and human responsibility affirms that every detail surrounding Christ's suffering was orchestrated by God for our redemption.
