How do we know that Christ's resurrection is essential for salvation?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ's resurrection is essential because it confirms our justification and victory over sin and death (Romans 6:8-9).

The resurrection of Christ is integral to the Christian faith as it assures us of our justification and victory over sin. Romans 6:8-9 states that if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him. By rising from the dead, Christ defeated death and demonstrated that He is the life. His resurrection guarantees that death has no dominion over Him, and consequently, for those united with Him, it signifies our own resurrection and eternal life.
