How do we know that Christ's sovereignty is true?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sovereignty is affirmed by Scripture and demonstrated through His authority over all events in history.

The sovereignty of Christ is established by His control over all things, as indicated in the narrative of His crucifixion in John 18-19. The events leading to the cross were under God's sovereign plan, as Acts 2:23 explains that Jesus was delivered up according to God's foreknowledge. This sovereign authority assures us that nothing occurs outside of God's will, including our salvation. When Peter preached that Christ was crucified by the predetermined counsel of God, it illustrated that Christ's reign encompasses every aspect of existence, providing believers with confidence in His eternal kingship.
