How do we know that every member of the body of Christ is important?

Answered in 1 source

Every member is important because God has sovereignly placed each one in the body and assigned a role that is essential for the church's function.

According to 1 Corinthians 12:12-26, every member of the body serves a vital purpose, and no member can say they are unnecessary. This is analogous to the human body, where every part, even the seemingly insignificant ones, is crucial for overall health and function. Just as a foot cannot dismiss itself from the body because it is not a hand, likewise, no believer can claim they are unimportant within the church. God intentionally designed each member to contribute to the body for mutual edification, ensuring that every part is necessary to promote unity and completeness.
