How do we know that faith in Christ is enough for salvation?

Answered in 4 sources

Faith in Christ is sufficient for salvation, as it is through belief in Him that one is justified before God.

The apostle Paul makes it clear that faith in Christ is the means by which we are justified. Romans 3:28 asserts that we are justified by faith apart from the works of the law. This was a pivotal point during the Jerusalem council in Acts 15, where the apostles recognized that salvation for all, both Jew and Gentile, comes purely through faith in Christ, not through any legalistic requirements or rituals. This understanding of faith aligns with the Reformed doctrine that emphasizes that salvation is wholly a work of God's grace.
