God’s abundant grace towards His chosen ones is evidenced in their faith in Christ. As stated in Ephesians 1:5, God has predestined us unto adoption as children by Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of His will. This adoption is not contingent upon our actions but on God's unchanging will. When we come to faith in Christ, we can be assured that we are among the blessed ones because it signifies that we have been drawn by the Father and have responded in faith to the call of the gospel.
