How do we know that God's call to ministry is true?

Answered in 1 source

The call to ministry comes from God and is confirmed through His Word and the actions of the individual chosen.

The validity of a minister's calling is deeply rooted in Scripture, as God is the one who appoints individuals to the ministry. In Ephesians 4, Paul notes that Christ gives some as apostles, prophets, evangelists, and pastor-teachers, indicating that the call is divinely orchestrated. Furthermore, the minister's faithfulness in fulfilling this stewardship is evidence of God's hand in their life; such faithfulness is required by God. Paul, speaking from his own experience, acknowledges that his call was granted by God's grace, setting the foundation for believing that any true minister possesses a legitimate call to service prompted by God Himself.
