How do we know that God uses our prayers?

Answered in 1 source

We know God uses our prayers because Scripture shows us that prayer is a means by which He accomplishes His purposes.

Our confidence in the efficacy of prayer rests on the teachings of Scripture. In Romans 8:26, we're reminded that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, helping us in our weaknesses. Similarly, in Ezekiel 36:37, the Lord states that He will be inquired of by His people, indicating that our prayers are a vital means through which God accomplishes His predetermined plan. While God is sovereign and does not need our prayers to execute His will, He has nevertheless chosen to use them as part of His divine mechanism, allowing us to participate in His work and acknowledge His sovereignty.
