How do we know that God will draw near to us?

We can be assured that God draws near to us through His commitment to those who seek Him in humility. Psalm 145:18 states, 'The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him in truth,' indicating that His presence is promised to those who genuinely seek Him. Furthermore, Ephesians 2:13 explains that we who were once far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ, which reinforces that Christ's sacrificial work allows us to access the Father. Thus, when we earnestly pursue Him, He fulfills His promise to meet us on that journey.
