How do we know that grace should change our behavior?

Answered in 1 source

Grace does not allow us to continue in sin; rather, it compels us to live conduct that glorifies God (Romans 14:17).

In the context of God's grace, the Apostle Paul states that while we are saved by grace, this grace does not give us the liberty to indulge in sin. Instead, believers are accountable for their conduct, striving to glorify God in all things. Paul clearly articulates in Romans 14:17 that the kingdom of God is not about food and drink but about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Genuine grace produces a desire within the believer to live in a way that reflects God's character and glorifies Him.
