How do we know that Jesus Christ is sovereign?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus Christ's sovereignty is affirmed through His life, death, resurrection, and ascension.

The sovereignty of Jesus Christ is established throughout scripture, where He is depicted as the one who had authority over all creation (Colossians 1:16-17). In Acts 1, we see the culmination of His work as He ascends to heaven after His resurrection, positioning Himself at the right hand of God (Ephesians 1:20-22). His sovereignty is further affirmed by the way He governs all aspects of salvation, as highlighted in the doctrines of grace. The understanding that Christ reigns over all, including sin and death, provides believers with the assurance that nothing occurs outside of His divine plan and authority.
