How do we know that prayer is an evidence of true faith?

Answered in 1 source

A habit of prayer is a sure mark of true Christians, as they cannot help but cry out to God from the moment they are born again.

The presence of a consistent prayer life is presented as a clear indication of genuine faith. Just as breathing is the first sign of life in a newborn, prayer is the first expression of life in a born-again believer. Throughout the sermon, it is highlighted that all true Christians instinctively pray, stemming from their realization of spiritual needs and dependence on God’s grace. Notably, cases of biblical figures who were characterized by their prayer lives further support this truth.
