How do we know that righteousness brings peace?

Righteousness brings peace through the completed work of Christ, who fulfilled the law perfectly on our behalf. Romans 10:4 teaches us that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Because we are not able to achieve perfect righteousness ourselves, it must come from Christ. His sacrifice establishes our peace with God; Colossians 1:20 indicates that He made peace through the blood of His cross. Therefore, righteousness leads to peace because it secures our relationship with God, eliminating fear and fostering a deep sense of assurance in His promises.
