How do we know that spiritual sacrifices are acceptable to God?

Answered in 1 source

Spiritual sacrifices are acceptable to God as they are offered through Jesus Christ, who is our high priest.

According to Hebrews 13:15-16, we are instructed to offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, highlighting that it is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. These spiritual sacrifices are not about animal offerings but are instead expressions of gratitude and good works done in obedience to God. Furthermore, in 1 Peter 2:5, believers are described as a holy priesthood, called to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. This demonstrates that our ability to worship and offer these sacrifices comes from our relationship with Christ, who mediates our worship.
