How do we know that the priesthood of Christ is better than the Levitical priesthood?

The superiority of Christ's priesthood is demonstrated through His ability to bring perfection, which the Levitical priests could not achieve.

The apostle Paul clearly argues in Hebrews that the Levitical priesthood, despite being instituted by God, was unable to bring true perfection and reconciliation between God and man. This is highlighted in Hebrews 10:4, which states that the blood of animals cannot take away sins. In contrast, Jesus Christ, as our High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, provides the perfect sacrifice once for all, accomplishing what the Levitical system could not. His unique priesthood is characterized by His eternal intercession and His power of an endless life, setting Him apart as the ultimate Mediator between God and humanity.
