How do we know that the Word of God increases in a church?

Acts 6:7 reports that as the apostles focused on prayer and the ministry of the Word, the number of disciples multiplied greatly. This increase is a direct result of the faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture, coupled with the Holy Spirit’s work in the hearts of individuals. The Word of God penetrates hearts, resulting in genuine conversions and spiritual maturity among believers. Thus, an increase in the Word indicates not merely numerical growth but deepening faith, unity, and obedience among the church members.
