How do we know that the wrath of God is justified?

Answered in 1 source

The justification of God's wrath is evident in humanity's rejection of His truth and moral order.

God's wrath is justified as it responds to humanity's deliberate choice to reject the knowledge of Him that is evident in creation. Romans 1:20 affirms that God's invisible attributes are clearly seen, leaving people without excuse. When individuals know God but fail to glorify Him or express gratitude, their hearts become darkened (Romans 1:21). This willful ignorance and refusal to acknowledge God's authority triggers His righteous judgment, as they choose to pursue their sinful desires instead of His truth.
