How do we know that trusting in God is essential?

We trust in God because those who know His name will inherently place their trust in Him.

Psalm 9:10 affirms, 'And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee.' This highlights a fundamental aspect of Christian faith: true knowledge of God leads to trust in Him. When believers truly comprehend His nature and character, as revealed in His Word, their faith naturally follows. It suggests that a genuine relationship with God leads to an unwavering trust, and that knowledge is a gift given to His people by His grace. Therefore, to know God is to trust Him.
