How do we know that we are accepted by God?

Answered in 7 sources

We know we are accepted by God through our faith in Jesus Christ, who has made us acceptable to the Father (Ephesians 1:6).

Our acceptance by God is entirely through His grace, as stated in Ephesians 1:6, where it says we are accepted in the Beloved. This means that our standing before God is not based on our own righteousness or works, but solely on the redemptive work of Christ. When Christ laid down His life as a sacrifice for our sins, He fulfilled the requirement for our acceptance by offering Himself to the Father on our behalf. This acceptance is a gracious gift from God, assuring us that we are His children and beneficiaries of His eternal love and favor. Hence, we find our assurance and hope in His promises and the completed work of Christ, which secures our acceptance.
