How do we know that worshiping God is genuine?

Answered in 1 source

Genuine worship arises from a heart transformed by grace, recognizing and rejoicing in God’s truth.

Genuine worship is evidenced by a heart that sees the beauty and majesty of God and responds in love and reverence. The sermon emphasizes that faith comes by hearing; thus, when God reveals His truth to a believer, it generates a response of worship. A transformed heart will treasure God’s Word, as highlighted in the relationship between knowing the truth and loving the truth itself. When believers worship in spirit and truth, it reflects their understanding and appreciation of God’s character and work in their lives, distinguishing it from mere ritualistic practices.
