How do we know trusting in God brings peace?

Isaiah 26:4 instructs us to 'Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.' This assurance means that when we rely on God's strength and sovereignty, we are anchored in His peace, regardless of our circumstances. Throughout scripture, we see examples where God's people find tranquility when they turn to Him, rather than their own understanding or worldly solutions. This trust allows us to experience a peace that 'passeth all understanding,' guarding our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
