How do we know we are children of light?

In 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul distinguishes between those in darkness and those who are children of light. The evidence of being a child of light includes the presence of faith and love in one's life, as well as a consciousness of eternal truths. Children of light are characterized by a desire to seek the Lord and to live according to His will, reflecting the transformative power of the Holy Spirit and aligning their lives with the teachings of Christ.
