How do we know we are made near to God?

Answered in 1 source

We are made near to God through the sacrifice and blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:13).

Ephesians 2:13 states, 'But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.' This verse illustrates the transformative power of Christ's redemptive work. Before knowing Christ, we were separated from God, lost and without hope. However, through His blood, we gain access to God, affirming our reconciliation and acceptance. This nearness is not based on our actions or emotions but solely on the finished work of Christ, which provides us constant assurance of our relationship with the Father.
