How do we know we are truly saved according to Scripture?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us of our salvation through faith in Christ and the evidence of that faith in our lives.

Scripture teaches that believers can have assurance of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and by the fruits of that faith in their lives. In 2 Peter 1:10, the Apostle Peter urges believers to 'be diligent to make your calling and election sure.' This diligence involves a sincere assessment of our faith, recognizing that true saving faith produces visible results, such as a love for Christ, a rejection of self-righteousness, and a commitment to God's glory. Additionally, the Bible reassures us that those who are truly chosen by God will persevere in faith (John 10:28-29), as their salvation rests entirely on His sovereign grace.
