How do we know we have true righteousness in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Righteousness in Christ is obtained through faith, not through our works or achievements.

The Apostle Paul highlights that true righteousness is not derived from the law or personal merit but is through faith in Christ (Philippians 3:9). This righteousness is a gift from God that is granted to those who believe in Jesus. Believers are declared righteous, not based on their performance, but on Christ's finished work. This assurance comes from understanding that Christ bore the penalty for sin, allowing sinners to stand before God clothed in His perfect righteousness, fulfilling the law's demands on our behalf.
