How do we maintain the peace of God in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

We maintain the peace of God through prayer, thanksgiving, and keeping our focus on Christ.

To maintain the peace of God in our lives, Philippians 4:6-7 instructs us to approach God with our worries through prayer and supplication, combined with thanksgiving. This practice not only acknowledges our dependence on God but also helps us to keep our eyes fixed on Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. By regularly coming to God with our burdens, we are reminded of His faithfulness and provision, which helps to sustain our peace. Cultivating a spirit of gratitude fosters joy and strengthens our relationship with God. Therefore, when we keep the channels of communication open with God, we can experience a continual sense of His peace in our hearts.
