How does Christ bring light in darkness?

In John 1:4-5, it states that 'in Him was life, and the life was the light of men.' This means that Jesus not only generates life but also illuminates the truth of God, dispelling the darkness of sin and ignorance. The light of Christ shines in the hearts of believers, granting spiritual regeneration and exposing the darkness of their former lives. This contrasts the state of fallenness in humanity, where sin creates a barrier between God and man, but in redemption through Christ, this barrier is removed, allowing us to walk in His light.
