How does Christ help us in times of suffering?

Answered in 1 source

Christ helps us in suffering by reminding us that our trials are temporary and ultimately for our good.

Christ supports us during suffering by providing both comfort and a greater perspective on our hardships. In Philippians 1:29, it is written that believers are granted not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for His sake. This teaches us that suffering is intertwined with our faith and is allowed by God for our ultimate good and His glory. Through trials, we are drawn closer to Christ, reinforcing our dependence on Him. We learn to rely on His strength in our weakness and find solace in His promises, knowing that every affliction serves a purpose in our sanctification and draws us nearer to Him.
