How does Christ serve as our high priest?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ serves as our high priest, mediating for us and providing access to God through His sacrifice.

In Hebrews 10:21, we are reminded that Christ is our high priest over the house of God. His priesthood is superior because He not only offers sacrifices but is Himself the sacrifice that fully atones for our sins. This role as high priest means that He continually intercedes for us, ensuring that we have direct access to God. Through His blood, we are sanctified and empowered to live in relationship with the Father, which was not possible under the old covenant.
