How does faith in God relate to our fears?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in God reassures us that He has already accomplished everything necessary for our salvation, freeing us from fear.

Faith is an assurance that the Lord has done everything required for our salvation, which in turn alleviates our fears. Instead of worrying about what we may lack, we can rest in the completed work of Christ. Hebrews 10 emphasizes that understanding our security in Him enables us to face challenges without fear. True faith believes in what God has done rather than just hoping for what He will do. This faith provides a foundation of peace whereby we can say, 'I will fear no evil; for you are with me,' reflecting the truth of Psalm 23.
