How does God initiate spiritual thirst?

Spiritual thirst is a gift from God, initiated by His grace. Just as God first approaches us in Christ, it is He who creates the longing within us for spiritual fulfillment. Without divine intervention, we are blind to our own spiritual needs, but upon receiving new life, we begin to crave the living water that only Jesus provides.
