How does God's grace affect our ability to follow Him?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace enables us to follow Him and obey His commandments despite our sinful nature.

The sermon explains that following God and obeying His commandments cannot be achieved through human effort alone. We are reminded that, like our forefathers, we are naturally rebellious and unfaithful. However, significant change occurs because of God's grace. As Ephesians 2 explains, it is by grace that we are saved, and this grace empowers us to abandon our sinful ways and genuinely follow Christ. It is a divine work in our hearts that transforms us and enables obedience from a place of love and gratitude, not out of obligation.
