How does God's love transform us?

Answered in 2 sources

God's love transforms us by changing our hearts and enabling us to live in obedience to Him.

The love of God, as expressed through Christ's sacrifice, transforms believers by granting us a new heart that desires righteousness. When we are born again, God places His Spirit within us, which enables us to both know and love the truth. This transformation is essential for living a life reflective of God’s character. The process of becoming more like Christ, which involves purification and repentance, is evidence that His love is active in our lives. As we abide in His love, we grow in our capacity to reflect that love to others, further demonstrating His work within us.
